Defying conventions, WSSD has decided to release good news on a Friday – the new superintendent is expected to be Dr. Wagner Marseille. Dr. Marseille seems to have a broad background as a teacher, coach and administrator currently working as superintendent of Cheltenham School District for the last five years. He has a EdD in educational and organizational leadership from the University of Pennsylvania. It seems likely we’ll hear more about him at Monday’s school board meeting.
