The township has posted its first newsletter here. Currently its available on the website, Facebook and sent out by the commissioners to their email lists (except here in the fifth where I don’t think we’ve ever had an email list). There should be a direct sign-up for the newsletter eventually, but it doesn’t look like its ready yet. I’ve heard the plan is to have quarterly newsletters like this one with news and updates.

This newsletter has information about upcoming electronics recycling and household hazardous waste events, the upcoming blood drive, summer camp, park events at Furness and Martha Burton Parks, and updates from groups in the township like the library, Leiper house and many of the township’s committees. Most of the newsletter was compiled by township manager Dave Grady and administrative assistant Mona Price and it seems like a great addition to the once a year paper newsletter we get with the tax bill.
