Citizens Against Trash Makes the News

For reasons that are not clear to me, Nether Providence’s Citizens Against Trash made the news in New Bethlehem’s Leader-Vindicator. There’s quotes by one of the group’s founders and commissioner Max Cooper. Citizens Against Trash continues to organize local clean-ups from their Facebook page. The latest seems to have been the Springfield Mall Trolley Stop. Citizens Against Trash has adopted a section of Avondale Rd. to keep clean and the article has more information for groups interested in adopting roadways to keep clean.
