The Swarthmorean editors published their remarks last month in “a Letter From the Publisher.”

Rachel’s post is lengthy and probably the most complete story we’ll have. It tells a story that is all too plausible in suburban America. The piece illustrates how the issue of race is woven into so much of what happens in the news and overlaps with stories of other marginalized groups.
