There’s a handful of events coming up in Nether Providence in the next week or two.

The library auction is happening now. Many of the library’s fundraisers haven’t been possible due to Covid, so this is an important one to support Furness Library. The auction is happening on the website here, and the rules have been posted here.

Bulk waste disposal for township residents only is happening on July 24th from 10 am – 2 pm. Locations are as Hepford Park and South Media Fire Station. More information on the township’s website.

There’s another cleanup at Martha Burton Park to make it look its best ahead of the park dedication on July 31st at 11 am. The cleanup on the 24th is from 9 am – 11 am. There’s a flyer on the township’s website.

The Leiper House is re-opening to the public on August 1st. Leiper House and the adjacent Leiper Park are nice locations hidden away in the township. The Leiper House dates back to 1785.

The next South Media Food Truck Friday is August 6th at 5 pm. It doesn’t look like they’ve posted the food lineup yet.
