Thank you to everyone that suggested an edit on Google Maps, together (and with the help of township manager Dave Grady), we got it renamed today! Its Google Maps official just in time for the park’s dedication this Saturday.
Today I also got an email that Stefan Roots of the Chester Matters blog is seeking a seat on the county’s Solid Waste Authority, which oversees the contract with the Covanta waste incinerator in Chester. Stefan’s set up a petition on Change.org as well. Stefan’s victory in the May primary indicates that he does speak for a substantial population in Chester, so it seems reasonable to have him as a voice for the city on the county’s Solid Waste Authority. Take a look at the petition, its well written up. Sign on if you agree its time Chester has some say about the trash coming its way.
