WSSD is currently reviewing a calendar proposal for the next two years and expects to approve these calendars shortly – possibly at their meeting next week. A group of parents in the WSSD community is circulating a petition calling on the school board to delay implementing the 2023-2024 calendar until there is a further review of how to handle religious holidays not currently observed by the district.
