South Media Fire Company has announced that it’s taking a break on its Food Truck Fridays for the rest of the year, so there will be no food trucks at SMFC this Friday.

Wednesday Nether Providence is hosting its blood drive on Aug 3rd, there’s currently only a single space remaining, so its almost full again. I think every blood drive the township has done for years has managed to fill up the appointments. You can search for it and other nearby blood drives here.

Nether Providence’s bulk trash drop-off is taking place at Hepford Park on August 13th from 10 am – 2 pm (or unil the dumpster is full). This event is only open to township residents. No electronics or hazardous waste allowed. More information is available on the township website.
